The paper is focused on scientific research projects of Anhui province institutions, The aim is to resolve mine’s dust treatment application problems. mine encountered a severe dust problem when the rigs probe holes in roadway, The amount of dust generated is one of the mining disaster when the rigs work. In the process of drilling, The4cm large stones and5um Small respirable dust will be generated, they will be seriously harmful to the health of workers, The mining construction site environment will be polluted, the safety of mine production will be seriously threaten.However, There are two types of dust removal equipments when the rigs probe holes in roadway, one of methods can avoid generating dust by injecting water into the center hole, but this method not only needs a large amount of water, but also the mud produced seriously pollutes the scene of the mining environment, at the same time, the mud water mixture is sprayed into the front power box on drill pipe impacting force, and the system stability will be affected, then, the rigs life will be reduced and the overall performance of the rig will be cut down. The another method is to use dust removal imported equipment, the price is expensive, larger volume, But it can not meet the special environment of the local mining, and can not be combined with the local mining, its flexibility is also poor, dedusting efficiency is not very good, Therefore, contrary to the above problems, the paper will comprehensively analysis and design from the following aspects.The first is to design dust removal equipment that meet the site need according to their own characteristics and work characteristics, then, the related model of the device will be establish and the assembly of the device will be completed as a whole by Solid works software, finally, according to design needs, The components involving dust removal device will be conducting strength analysis and modal analysis by using ANSYS software, and ultimately, the overall appearance of the design parameters and structure will be determined. After the completion of the design, the structures need to be adjusted to meet the needs of the different working conditions of the rig drilling, Such as the inclined holes and under slant-hole drilling as well as horizontal holes whether dust removal device can coordinate to meet with the rig work or not. The second is to wet atomized dust by using the pressure wind and pressure water from mine so that it can be not necessary to add to the external impetus to dust in the the internal dedusting equipment. The key task is to select different nozzle by numerical simulation, to begin with, the different nozzle models will be established by Solid works software, and then, they will be imported the Fluent software to conduct flow field simulation analysis, the concrete analysis have different nozzles’ pressure field, velocity field, the field of the flow line, and the pressure loss, the final nozzle model will be determined. The third is to conduct experimental validation analysis in our school’s high pressure water jet lab, the relevant data will be obtained, and then, the datas will be analyzed so as to combinate with theory and experiment, which will verify the reasonableness of theoretical analysis and accuracy of the experiment. The fourth is to conduct simulation to the rig dust removal device’s work situations by3dmax software. it achieves a dusting way of simple structure, small size, light weight, capital investment less by designing and researching rig dust removal device, which not only beautifies dusting rig mining environment and but also ensure the health of workers, the service life of the rig becoms more longer, and more efficient.
