As a decorative pattern for fashion accessories, gloves pattern has a long history and developed so far due to the unique aesthetic and decorative styles for people to enjoy. Gloves pattern has many types, and express different style and cultural connotations. Based on the glove pattern richness and diversity, analysis and research of the issues will be shown in this paper.With the development of technology, some scientific and technological gloves, such as touch screen gloves, appeared, which the design aspects are more lacking. So far, the present study of gloves mainly for industrial use, and the research focused on gloves pattern for costume accessories is still lack of lack of academic theoretical discussion and analysis. Hence, it is necessary to carry out the classification and sorting system to explore its continued existence and development of a theoretical basis.This paper first from the glove pattern decorative, then to explore both color language and style language, and research on decorative motifs theme of the gloves, process performance, decoration for specific parts of the gloves, pattern constitution, the application of gloves decorative pattern in clothing. To explore lady glove pattern’s future trends, and to complete the research projects.In this paper, image data analysis method was used to analysis and summarize the gloves pattern, through domestic and international case studies, clarifying the pattern’s position and role in the glove pattern design, combined with design, providing a broader ideas and theoretical basis for the glove pattern design, to improve the quality and aesthetic value of the gloves design.
