Rotor spinning technology is the most widely applied and mature technology spinning system in the category of new spinning. This technology is widely accepted Because of short process/wide applicable range of raw materials/high spinning speed. And people tend to aspiring high quality spinning yarns along the change of the market. The quality of piecing is one of the most concerned qualities. This text based on the domestic and external spinning piecing technology, especially under the situation of domestic rotor spinning machine belongs to the first generation (only can finish the piecing but the quality is bad), change the traditional piecing model, develop the piecing system, and study deeply on piecing parameters. And test the possibility by doing some experiment, to do some preparation for further improve of semiautomatic piecing quality.Detail works are as followed:(1)Studying the traditional piecing model on the basis of previous studies, analyzes the influence of the piecing parameters on the quality of piecing, and arrange the optimal design of21s and31s.(2)Studying of semi-automatic piecing model based on variable feed, design new piecing parameters combined with the principle of rotor spinning and semi automatic piecing mechanism, and improve the basic theory for improving the quality of semiautomatic rotor spinning piecing.(3) Developing new piecing system on ET480semi automatic rotor spinning machine, it mainly contains the design of mechanical/drive and control components of the hardware, as for the software, it mainly contains of the step motor running rules/the ruling of PLC to the drive system,and the model of piecing system. (4) Test the semiautomatic piecing system based on variable-speed feeding, optimize the piecing parameters, and comparing with the traditional piecing model, verify the effectiveness of the system.Through the work above, Conclusions can be drawn under the conditions of experiment:(1)The quality of piecing under the guidance of traditional model is poor, though the optimize of piecing parameters, although the piecing quality has improved, but still did not get the level of procedure quality, need further improvement.(2) The semiautomatic piecing device designed in this paper can realize variable-speed feeding of every single spindles, the piecing parameters is simple to be controlled, can carry out various piecing test effective.(3)The quality of piecing can be improved under the conditions of high speed,taking advantage of variable speed feed device, such as under the condition of95000r/min, the breaking strength of21s yarn can be improved from54.5%to about73.7%, and piecing shape is good.(4)The improvement of breaking strength become less obvious as the improve of yarn count, when spinning32s yarns,the improvement of breaking strength is not obvious,but there are still substantial improvement in piecing configuration.
