| The porphyrin and its derivative are an enormous group of π-conjugated compounds,there are many natural metalloporphyrin complexes in nature. The structure of the porphyrincompounds is highly regulated, the type and location of substituents of the porphyrincompounds has a rich diversity of different. Different metal centers have a great effect onphotoelectric chemical properties of the porphyrin compounds. Therefore, there is a wideconcern and use of the porphyrin and metalloporphyrin complexes in catalysis, bionics, solar,optical inform-ation storage, molecular recognition, medical and other areas. Some modifiedporphyrins with aromatic ring or heterocycles containing nitrogen atom are synthesized inorder to obtain better performance. Schiff base also known as PEI or PEI substitutions, is akind of organic compounds containing C=N group. It is easy to synthesize Schiff Base whichcan reaction with a variety of amines and different aldehydes and ketones containing carbonylgroups flexiblely. Many volatile compounds can be synthesized by changing the connection ofthe substituent or changing the donor molecular function and location of the structure.In this thesis, we have synthesized a new Schiff Base based on amino-phenylporphyrinand2-Pyridinecarboxaldehyde, which was modified to obtain more optimum function.First, we synthesized5-(4-aminophenyl)-10,15,20-phenylporphyrin (TPP-NH2) througha series of reactions; Then, the Schiff base was synthesized by the condensation reaction ofTPP-NH2and2-Pyridinecarboxaldehyde; Finally, the metaline Schiff base was prepared.
