In this paper, a range of schiff-base compounds with novelly-structured4-methyl piperazine acethydrazide were designed and synthesized through molecular simulation. The Structures for preparing such compounds was speculated and confirmatoried through a combined characterization methods of elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy,1HNMR spectrum, DTA-TGA and the measurement of molar conductivity, thus laid a theoretical foundation for the research in the above-mentioned compounds.A number of stable molecular configuration of typical schiff-base with4-methyl piperazine acethydrazide was obtained via molecular simulation, whose energy level, geometric parameters, atomic charge distribution and analog IR spectra was also obtained via structural optimization.Methylpiperazine was utilized to synthesize4-methyl piperazine acethydrazide, whose characterization was then confirmed. After that, an aromatic aldehyde was added to the4-methyl piperazine acethydrazide in the solvent of absolute ethanol to obtain ten schiff-base compounds, all of which had not been reported.Meanwhile, factors that affecting the reaction yield was investigated and the optimized conditions included:n(4-methyl piperazine acethydrazide):n(aromatic aldehyde)=1:1(molar ratio)(For terephthaldehyde2:1), an equivalence of reaction temperature with reflow temperature, reaction time of2h. The final yield ranged from70.8%to91.4%, which provided certain theoretical basis for the investigations of these schiff-base compounds.Choose two of the ten products substituent of salicylic acid and p-dimethyl aminobenzaldehyde as the ligand Li and L2to react with transitional metals(Zn2+、Cd2+、 Cu2-、Co2+), then seven(except for Cu2+/L2) schiff-base mental complexes was obtained; Relevant characterizations speculated the possible components as follows:[Zn (Li)2]· H2O、[Cd (Li)2]· H2O、[Cu (Li)2]· H2O、[Co (Li)2]· H2O、[Zn (L2)2]、[Cd (L2)2]、[Co (L2)2]. Finally, the solid fluorescents of the ligands as well as the complexes was detected to explore the luminescent properties and provide theoretical basis for future application.
