| The energy problem is becoming increasingly prominent with rapid economic development, especially the oil shortage. Replacing oil with coal has become one of the promising ways to solve the energy problem in China. Coal-derived oil products are complex in composition and contain lots of heteroatoms like sulphur, nitrogen, and oxygen, thus it is of great significance to analyze the composition of coal-derived oil products and the morphology of sulphur compounds contained for efficient and green coal utilizatioaThis thesis analyzed the composition of several coal-derived oil products (high temperature coal tar, low temperature coal tar, coal direct-liquefaction oil and F-T synthesis oil), involving elementary composition, group composition and fractional composition, and then briefly discussed subsequent process according to the analysis results. Results indicate that high temperature coal tar has70%of aromatic compounds, and nearly none of aliphatic compounds; Phenols content is highest in low temperature coal tar, and aliphatic compounds content is second; Coal direct-liquefaction oil has70%of aromatic compounds, the majority of which are hydrogenated arenes; Straight-chain paraffin content is the highest in F-T synthesis oil, and alkene content is the second.A qualitative and quantitative method of the sulphur compounds in coal-derived oil products was established referring to the analysis methods in petrochemical industry. Raw samples were preprocessed by solvent extraction and column chromatography, and then aliphatic, aromatic, polar and toluene insoluble fractions were derived. The sulphur compounds in aliphatic, aromatic and polar fractions were analyzed by a combination of GC-AED and GC-MS, and the morphology of sulphur compounds in toluene insoluble was analyzed by XPS. Results indicate that the sulphur compounds in coal-derived oil products are mainly thiophene, benzothiophene, dibenzothiophene and benzonaphthothiophene, and a small amount of methanthioL The sulphur compounds in toluene insoluble are mainly thiophene, oxysulfide like R-O-S-S-R,sulphones and inorganic sulfur. |
