The Way To Control Reactive Dye Printing Denim Fabric Of Color Fastness

Denim has been one of the most important product of cotton spinning industry, with the increasing production of denim fabrics and the expanding market share, denim have taken the assignable role in people’s daily dress. Recently, in the denim market it continuously introduce new products, such as the denim’s color from blue indigo to colorful, the techniques from tradition storage to various finishing methods.But they are mainly pure color. However, as a new type of denim fabric, printing denim has risen in the market gradually. But now,the printing denim are mainly discharge printing, for the painting adhere on the fabric, which made the pattern parts feel hard and thick. So a new printing denim is needed to solve the problem.By researching the different kinds of printing denim fabric,such as reactive dyes printing, sulfurized dyes printing, discharge printing and other printing technology,trial and error,at last decided to use reactive dyes printing to finish denim printing,and also research the best fastness extent of the reactive dyes printing.(1)Research the factors,such as the reactive dyes’ structure,the formula of printing paste,color fastness condition,the way to finishing,which has a great influence on color fastness,and by designing experiment to finish reactive dye printing.(2)According to the requirements of the reactive dye printing process conditions,it Researches and prepares different concentrations of printing paste. And then Depend on the configuration of the paste experiment in monochrome printing on fabrics, to adjust the printing paste concentration according to the color effect.(3)The research of reactive dye technology:Before using reactive dyes on denim fabric considering the dark jeans its self,therefor, should choose deeper concentration paste,choose suitable steaming time and steaming temperature,for steaming conditions can affect the effect of the combination of dyes and fabric.(4)After washing the new printing denim fabric process,next,test the color fastness of the fabric,and then conform the best color fastness extent according to the test result and sample effect.What’s more applied the finished fabrics into clothes,so the whole process range from pattern design to garment production.Conclusion:(1)Through the result of using single dyes on the fabric it knows that the best fastness temperature of direct dyes printed on the denim is103℃, and the best fastness time is8min. And also the dye’s concentration can adjust with the different pattern effect and customers’interests, the color effect can change from light to dark.(2) In terms of dye color choice, with the deep color of denim fabrics, so choose high saturation color as far as possible when in the selection, and then by washing finish effect it can contrast with denim itself, and color can change from light to dark, and well ranged.(3) Obtained by the process of printing denim fabric, the dye molecules combined with fiber molecules through chemical bond, thus the finished fabrics feel soft and comfortable.(4)For the reactive dye printing denim fabrics has not emerge in current market, therefore, in the choice of pattern, it can use the combination of choice point, line and plane, but should not be too large, tinted unfavorable and overmuch, can be freely configured according to consumer preferences.In all, it gets the best fastness condition, which has a great influence on large scale production. The birth of direct printing denim fabric has injected fresh blood into printing denim fabric,which can meet nowadays’the diverse needs of direction, to some extent, it increases personalized development trend.
