Based on the research, it was found that Water and Soil Erosion, Land Desertificationand Soil Salinization were the major problem.4) Chapter four using RS and GIS techniques. By calculating four times land-use transfer matrix and landscape pattern spatial features, revealing the land use Spatial change direction and quantity changes of research area.In order to provide basic data and comparison and optimization data for multi-objective programming model. The main conclusions of this chapter are the bellows:①During1989-2010, The land use structure change greatly in research area, on the whole, the roll in of forest land, grassland, Dry land and construction land are more larger than roll out; paddy field change roll in to roll out and water areas changed little.②From the point of landscape pattern, the index of landscape fragmentation and dominance Show a trend of decrease, the index of landscape diversity and landscape evenness tend to increase.5) Chapter five selectinggradient, Soil and It’s organic content, soil denudation and water resources, using GIS techniques, evaluating the cultivated land, woodland and grassland state of land use ecological suitability. According to the appropriate space of cultivated land suitability evaluation, results are divided into Five grades:high suitable zone, Moderate suitable zone, Critical suitable zone, Not suitable zone and especially not suitable zone; According to the appropriate space of woodland suitability evaluation, results are divided into two grades:high suitable zone, and Moderate suitable zone; According to the appropriate space of grassland suitability evaluation, results are divided intothreegrades:high suitable zone, Moderate suitable zone and Critical suitable zone. analyzed the area and topography of Every kind of suitability, provide space suitability distribution state for ecological security pattern of land use.6) Chapter six field survey and Four times Land-sat remote sensing interpretation, Based on the foundation of statistical data and the DEM data, building "pressure-state-response"(PSR)model, calculating land use ecological security status of the Central Arid Zone in Ningxia with the county as unit.
