Based On Three Effects Of EKC Theory To Research The Environmental Problems Of Economic Development In Gansu Province

This paper based on scholars’ theoretical studies on economicdevelopment, first briefly introduce the Environmental Kuznets Curve(EKC) relevant content, which is simulated by the evolution of per capitaincome and environmental pollution indexes, to clarify the impact ofeconomic development on the level of environmental pollution, that theprocess of economic development, environmental conditions firstdeteriorate further gradual improvement, the theoretical explanationrevolves around scale, structure and technical effect of three aspects.Scale reflected in the relationship between economic developmentand environmental issues, to collect nearly twenty years in GansuProvince "three wastes" emissions and the total amount of data generated,in his capacity as environmental indicators, then the per capita GDP as anindicator of economic development, in environmental Kuznets Curve(EKC), based on the study of the relationship between the observedcorrelation between the two is whether the shape of the curve in linebefore we envisioned EKC inverted U-shaped curve, and found gas,waste and the Economic are linear relationship between development andeconomic development is directly proportional with the rise of theindustrial structure of Gansu Province, this industrial structure on theecological environment will have an extremely severe stress; waste andeconomic development was a positive U-shaped relationship, indicating that wastewater treatment achieved good results before, but there aresigns of resurgence in recent years, should increase measures ofgovernance. By discussing environmental issues and economicdevelopment analysis to identify between the two issues and makerecommendations.Also, because of environmental pollution in economic growthaccompanied by changes in the industry, while often showing featuressimply, pollution and resource intensive and technology-intensiveindustries on the environment is different. And structural effects andtechnical effects are characterized by economic development andindustrial structure of a relationship. And then the changes in theindustrial structure will be based on this study, the use of the three majorindustrial added value and environmental pollution control investment inthe same period of the empirical analysis, and conclusions clarifyingthem.
