With the rapid development of textile industry, the non-oil industrial sewing machine has entered a new period of development. In this paper, after the development process of sewing machine non-oil transformation technology were introduced and analyzed, come to a conclusion:The general transformation of non oil technology has been difficult to meet the request for high speed, non-pollution and low noise of the modern industrial sewing machine.This paper aims at using air lubrication technology, designing a new kind of air flotation needle bar bearing and studying for the non-oil transformation of traditional industrial sewing machine. First, according to the size of the corresponding models of sewing machine, build the three dimensional solid models of the needle bar mechanism, kinematics analysis was carried out using the model. Second, based on the measurement results of air flotation sewing machine needle bar and surface form changes, established a numerical model close to the surface of the needle bar with real case. Establishes a air flotation sewing machine needle bar dynamic control equation. Analyzed the dynamic change principle of data model under the needle bar reciprocating motion; Third, in the MATLAB environment, the discrete equations were setted up by finite difference method. By using the SLOR method, the results were used in calculating the mechanical property of bearing. Compared simulated performance between the ideal needle bar and the one with form error. Last, Design and manufacture the experimental platform for the air flotation needle bearing. The bearing are studied under different load test. The results were compared with the theoretical calculation.By the research method of this paper, verified considering surface shape error factors of needle bar, the surface of the needle bar with form error can be produced relatively limited and obvious dynamic pressure effect in dynamic situations, provided a larger capacity gas film.
