Honing machining workpiece diameter is generally notmore than1000mm in domestic and the scope of work is in commonly Φ5-500mm,3000mm length. Therefore, the study of large vertical honing machine, with processing aperturein more than1200mm, has great practical significance.This paper introduces the performance requirements of large vertical honing machinehydraulic system function and design of the cooling system. Gived the principle diagram ofhydraulic control system, introduced the control principle of hydraulic system, carried outmathematical modeling and theoretical analysis on the control system. Based on the bypassthrottle speed control circuit, the mathematical model of proportional control valve tocontrol the speed of the hydraulic cylinder asymmetrical output is established. Takedproportional pressure reducing valve control the output power of asymmetric cylinder asresearch objects, it established the mathematical model of proportional pressure reducingvalve control unsymmetrical cylinder. Using the simulink modle of Matlab to simulate, toget the speed and the pressure output curve of the hydraulic cylinder in different inputvoltage, and analyze the feasibility of the hydraulic system design. Designed the coolingcirculatory system, and introduced the diagram and detailed scheme of cooling system.The design of large vertical honing machine hydraulic system, solved many technicaldifficulties, such as large flow high speed, and closed-loop control of speed and impactionbetween oil ston and workpiece can be realized by computer in electrical single. The designof the cooling system has solved the existing technical problems of small honing machinecooling system. Design of large vertical honing machine hydraulic and cooling system can meet therequirements of large diameter workpiece honing processing technology, and it is reliableperformance, reasonable structure, high control precision, high degree of automation.
