With the rapid development of industrial automation, accelerating process of urbanization and improving people’s living standards, emissions of industrial wastewater and domestic sewage in developing cities, especially the small and medium towns is sharp increasing, lead to the load of urban sewage treatment plants is growing and high energy consumption of sewage treatment problem is more prominent, so that the upgrading of the energy conservation and emissions reduction of sewage treatment system is imminent."Twelfth Five-Year Plan" for energy conservation and emissions reduction and construction planning of sewage treatment facilities of our country, all mentioned to make use of wastewater treatment process and advanced control methods and strategies reasonably, to achieve sewage treatment energy saving and emission reduction and lower consumption.This paper is based on the actual project of AAO process sewage treatment control system, which as the research object, first, introduced the principle of AAO-type sewage treatment process. Namely, the biological treatment using anaerobic-anoxic-aerobic method, having a good effect on nitrogen and phosphorus; And then analyze the device, the energy consumption of the various process stages, to find a way can saving energy and reducing consumption; According to technological requirements, the type of device and how it is run,to make the hardware selection and design of sewage disposal automatic monitoring and control system, according to the request of manufacturers choose ABB AC500PLC; And this paper introduces the functions and characteristics of the various input/output module and wiring using methods of the AC500PLC in details, explain using of AC500series of communications modules with powerful communications capabilities to build the entire control system network connection, also describes he protection of system grounding and shielding; System uses a distributed network control, between the monitoring and operation control layer using fiber optic Ethernet Ring networks, can ensure the high-speed information exchange and the redundancy stability of the whole system; Between the scene device and operation control layer using general industrial field bus technology, complete the connection of smart devices and remote I/O data communication, and realize the centralized monitoring of field devices. This paper used in ABB’s PLC programming software called Control Builder, which developing based on CoDeSys platform. It is built on a high level programming language, powerful function, supports up to six programming languages, convenient programming personnel division of Labour; By using programming software can realize the writing of the PLC control program, hardware configuration, network configuration, and upload and download of procedures and configuration, can also be used offline simulation, variable-line monitoring and other functions, provides a good use environment for programming technology person. PC configuration software using Siemens WinCC, as the server and client, using data of OPC communication functions exchange with the PLC, combined with powerful graphics display, alarm processing ability, achieve a vivid picture simulation of the process and real-time display of the process equipment and process parameters of each stage; Use its written script editing functions to write a time-based and event handlers, and use a third-party ActiveX controls, to achieve he real-time data report generation, etc.Using the powerful domestic splicing wall display technology, collecting each site surveillance cameras, designed DLP big-screen video surveillance systems, so that the operator can monitor the real-time status of the process for each site,and make appropriate strategy adjustments timely according to the system control condition.This paper analyzes the specific reasons of the sewage treatment process in each process section and the proportion of energy consumption, then for several relatively large energy consumption processes, respectively, puts forward the corresponding energy saving optimization control strategy. The aeration blast system using human-simulated intelligent control, flocculent adding system using fuzzy self-tuning PID control strategy, sewage lifting using polling control strategy based on shift logic, specifically describes the theoretical basis for the various control methods, parameter adjustment methods, etc. And a simulation was carried out, achieved energy consumption optimal control of sewage treatment.Compared to traditional control methods, this automated monitoring control and optimize energy efficiency system, has higher degree of automation, plays the effect of energy saving and consumption reducing, there is a certain value.
