As a typical green renewable energy, biodiesel has highly security, friendly to theenvironment and can be mixed with diesel in any proportion, and also it has good combustionand emission performance. It is considered as an ideal choice of alternative fuel for diesel fuel.Thus, it has become the hot and preface topic of research for alternative fuel.Based on the analysis of raw materials sources and production methods of biodiesel,soybean biodiesel, waste oil biodiesel, rubber seed biodiesel, cottonseed biodiesel andjatropha seed biodiesel were taken as research subjects in this paper. The specific researchcontents are as follows: Firstly, the qualitative and quantitative analyzes on the composition offive kinds of biodiesel and fatty acid methyl ester are carried out by GC-MS. Secondly,reference to the measurement methods of diesel physicochemical indexes and GB/T20828“biodiesel blend stock (BD100) for diesel engine fuels” standard specifies test methods, thephysicochemical indexes of biodiesel and-10#diesel are measured. Thirdly, in order toachieve the prediction of some physicochemical indexes by the composition of biodiesel, thispaper analyzes the impact of the composition of biodiesel and fatty acid methyl ester on somephysicochemical indexes of biodiesel, which combines the test data obtained from thecomposition and physicochemical properties of biodiesel, and establishes model of somephysicochemical index prediction by using linear regression model and SPSS data analysissoftware. Lastly, based on the analysis of the relationship between the composition andphysicochemical properties of biodiesel, this paper studies the impact of5kinds of biodieseland experimental control group-10#diesel on the corrodibility, compatibility and adaptabilityof five kinds of metal materials, six kinds of rubber, three kinds of plastic used in vehiclesthrough experiment.Through the experimental study on biodiesel and diesel, the result shows that: there aredifferences in the composition of biodiesel obtained in the same method by different sourcesof raw materials,and the content of the fatty acid methyl ester is not the same, it shows thatthe raw material is the main factor influencing the component of biodiesel. There are somedifferences in physicochemical indexes of bio-diesel obtained from different sources, thesame to the physicochemical indexes of biodiesel and-10#diesel. The corrosion, compatibility and adaptability of biodiesel with metal, plastics and rubber are different, andare different from the control group with diesel.
