With PLC technology application being more and more widely in the field ofindustrial control, PLC courses also gradually become industrial control foundationcourse in industrial engineering colleges. PLC courses enable students to learn notonly the basic principles, but also to develop students’ practical ability. PLCexperiment teaching, therefore, becomes an important part in the PLC teaching.However, restricted in funds, space and other factors, the controlled objects willencounter big problems. It’s hard to establish a complete PLC system in laboratoryexperiments to meet the experiment’s requirements.Through analysing the problems with the current domestic engineering collegesand universities carrying out PLC experimental teaching, integrating the concept ofvirtual simulation and touch screen technology, the dissertation puts forward thecontrol process of PLC controlled objects is replaced with the configuration softwareand touch screen.It can greatly reduce the experiment cost and make teaching moreconvenient, effectively stimulate students’ thinking and hands-on abilities.The dissertation introduces the basic knowledge of PLC technology,configuration technology and the touchscreen technology respectively. On thisbasis,the mutual communication settings between them are expounded. Taking PLCof Panasonic FP0R-C32, for example,"double16-story elevator linkage system" and"fuzzy washing machine", two experimental procedures were written, and virtualsimulation prototypes of double lift system and fuzzy washing machine are designedby using Force Control6.1configuration software. Control and presentationcapabilities of the real controlled objects are fully realized in the configurationinterface. Finally, the virtual simulation system of " transporter car" based on touchscreen is designed. The experiment can simulate the real car delivery process byusing the touch screen only. Online simulation is carried out in the touch screensimulation software EasyBuilder, and demonstration process of the physical touchscreen is completed with Weinview MT506touch screen. Through research and design of the dissertation, the simulation models can bedirectly applied to PLC in practical teaching.It replaces the real controlled objectssuch as dual elevator system, washing machine and the material car, which greatlyreducing the cost and expenses of experimental teaching, and achieving the desiredresearch purposes.
