ObjectiveTo explore gene single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNP)of rs4803455from TGFβ1in theHan population in Shenzhen, and study the correlation between its gene polymorphisms anddifferent clinical manifestations tuberculosis.MethodsThe allele genotypes of TGFβ1(rs4803455)in373patients with tuberculosis patients(tuberculosis group) and350healthy people(control group) were detected by using thereal-time fluorescence PCR method based on TaqMan probe technology and statisticallyanalysed, then we observed the differences of allele frequency between in pulmonarytuberculosis patients(pulmonary tuberculosis group) and in tuberculous pleurisypatients(tuberculous pleurisy group), all of which are confirmed by pathology and bacteriology.ResultThe statistical differences of the allele frequency C/A were observed in the genetic locusrs4803455between tuberculosis group and control group(P=0.000, OR=1.466,95%CI=1.182-1.819); No significantly statistical differences in the patients aged≤25years werefound between tuberculosis group and control group(P=0.094, OR=1.381,95%CI=0.946-2.015).Significantly statistical differences in the patients of age>25years were observed(P=0.002,OR=1.511,95%CI=1.162-1.965). The significantly statistical differences were also observed inpulmonary tuberculosis group and tuberculous pleurisy group, all of which are confirmed by bacteriology and pathology compared with control group respectively (P <0.05, OR value were1.422,2.560). The gene frequency of allele C in tuberculous pleurisy group is higher than inpulmonary tuberculosis group.ConclusionThe gene polymorphisms of TGFβ1(rs4803455) may be associated with tuberculosis, especially tuberculous pleurisy. Allele C may be a risk factor for prediction of tuberculosis inparticular tuberculous pleurisy, and the prediction of in the age of>25years is greater.
