Objective:To explore the value of in-phase and out-of-phase、T2weighted fat suppressed、T2relaxation time mapping and lipid biochemical markers in diagnosis of non-alcoholic fatty liverdisease and the pathological degrees.Methods:40male Wistar rats were divided into A, B two groups,30rats in experimental group A,feeding with high fat and high cholesterol diet for12weeks, while10rats in control group Bwith normal diet,The two groups was scanned with T2WI,IP and OP images and T2map.Observed MRI findings of the two groups of A, B. HFF1、HFF2、T2values of the experimentalgroup and the normal group were measured by post-processing software. After scanning, cardiacblood samples were obtained from the12-h fasted rats and measurement the content oftriglycerides, total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, low-density lipoproteincholesterol, then remove the liver for histopathological examination, using a special imageanalysis software to calculate the percentage of fat cells in the liver.Results:①The content of triglycerides, total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol between fatty liver group and non-fatty liver group issignificantly different (P <0.05), but there is no statistically significant in the different levels ofthe fatty liver (P>0.05).②The HFF1and HFF2values between normal and fatty liver group is statisticalsignificance (P<0.05), at the same time, there is significant (P<0.05) in different degree ofhepatic steatosis.③There is no significant difference in T2between fatty liver with no fatty liver, amongdifferent histopathological grades of hepatic steatosis, there is still no significant.④The values of hepatic fat fraction and signal intensity were highly correlated with theproportion of fatty degenerative cells(r=0.88,P=0.00<0.05,r=0.77,P=0.00<0.05),while theywere not in T2and biochemical markers. Conclusion:Lipid biochemical markers、In-phase and out-of-phase MR imaging、Frequency selective fatsuppression technique can help to differentiate hepatic steatosis from normal; The latter two alsocan contribute to classify fatty liver; Compared with T2-weighted fat suppressiontechnology,In-phase and out-of-phase MR imaging is closer to the pathological diagnosis inquantifying liver fat content,.
