| Objective:Evaluation of ice compress on the value of the tradition of the greatsaphenous vein high ligation and stripping surgery.Method:For20cases of patients who bilateral varicose(CEAP2-3) saphenous veinhigh ligation and stripping surgery be conventional compression bandage and makeright lower limb (experimental group) ice,q6h. qid.45minnutes every time. Left lowerlinb (control group) was treated with conventional compression bandage not ice.Thenobserve and compare the effects of two groups.①the VAS degree of pain②the degreeof limb swelling③the area of subcutaneous ecchymmoma④Incision infection ornot.⑤hypaesthesia or not.Result:The average pain score of the experimental group were6h:2.9±0.24;12h:3.5±0.18;18h:3.3±0.19;24h:3.1±0.19,control group were6h:4.4±0.23;12h:4.8±0.17;18h:4.7±0.15;24h:4.9±0.20,Compared the difference of two groupswas statistically significant.P<0.05.The average level of medial malleolus circumfer-ence difference, medial malleolus5cm circumference difference and under tibiaplatform circumference difference before surgery and three days after the first dressingin experimental group were (1.9±0.18) cm,(1.7±0.13) cm,(1.7±0.15) cm, and thecontrol group were (2.5±0.19) cm;(2.2±0.14) cm;(2.2±0.17), Compared thedifference of two groups was statistically significant.P<0.05.The average area ofsubcutaneous hematoma in experimental group was (0.9±0.29) cm2, and in thecontrol group was (2.2±0.49) cm2, Compared the difference of two groups wasstatistically significant.P<0.05.The incidence of feeling diminished in fourth icecompress in experimental group was65%,and in the control group was20%,Compared the difference of two groups was statistically significant.P<0.05; The incidence of feeling diminished when patients leave hospital in experimental groupwas20%,and in the control group was15%, Compared the difference of two groupswas not statistically significant P>0.05.The rate of wound infection in experimentalgroup was5%, and in the control group was5%, Compared the difference of twogroups was statistically significant.P<0.05.Conclusion:Ice compress can reduce the pain of great saphenous vein high ligationand stripping postoperative limb; can reduce the swelling of postoperative limb; canreduce the area of subcutaneous hematoma of postoperative limb;Ice compress couldnot cause irreversible hypoesthesia. |
