| Objective:1.to detect blood lipid levels of leukoaraiosis to investigate therelationship between blood lipids and leukoaraiosis.2.to study the relationship between leukoaraiosis and age, gender, bloodglucose, blood pressure, atherosclerosis, etc. Methods:This study randomly selected from September2011to February2012,322cases hospitalized in the Department of Neurology, the Second Affiliated Hospitalof Dalian Medical University, examined cranial MRI,according to the diagnosis weredivided into141cases of non-leukoaraiosis group(non-LA group) and181cases ofleukoaraiosis group(LA group),according to the Fazekas classification,181cases of LAgroup were divided into mild LA group(Fazekas I)57cases,moderate LAgroup(Fazekas II)52cases,and severe LA group(Fazekas III)72cases,the selectedobjects were recorded history of hypertension and diabetes, after admission monitoredblood pressure, detected blood lipids and blood glucose, examined neck vascularultrasound and cranial MRI.To analyze and compare blood lipid levels between thetwo groups and within the LA group(t test),and compare prevalence rate ofhypertension, diabetes and atherosclerosis between two groups (Chi-square test),meantime multivariate logistic regression analyze lipid-related indicators within LAgroup and age, gender, blood lipids, diabetes, hypertension, atherosclerosis, etc betweentwo groups, there was statistically difference as P<0.05.Results:1.Total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG) and low-density lipoproteincholesterol (LDL-C) levels in LA group were higher than those in non-LA group, therewere statistical differences between the two groups(P<0.05);High-density lipoproteincholesterol (HDL-C) levels between the two groups were no significant difference(P>0.05). 2.TC,TG and LDL-C levels in mild, moderate and severe LA group were allhigher than those in non-LA group, there were statistical differences(P<0.05); HDL-Clevels in mild, moderate and severe LA group, respectively compared with non-LAgroup, were no significant difference (P>0.05).3.In the blood lipid-related indicators logistic regression analysis in mild LAgroup,TC was significantly different(P<0.05),TG and LDL-C were no significantdifference(P>0.05); In the blood lipid-related indicators logistic regression analysis inmoderate, severe LA group,TC and LDL-C were significantly different(P<0.05),TGwas no significant difference(P>0.05).4.In the analysis of correlation between the severity of LA and blood lipidlevels, the comparison of mild LA group and moderate LA group showed: TC level inmoderate LA group was higher than mild LA group, there were statistical differencesbetween the two groups(P<0.05),but TG,LDL-C and HDL-C levels between the twogroups were no significant difference(P>0.05);The comparison of mild LA group andsevere LA group showed:TC and LDL-C levels in severe LA group were higher thanmild LA group, there were statistical differences between the two groups(P<0.05),butTG and HDL-C levels between the two groups were no significant difference(P>0.05);The comparison of moderate LA group and severe LA group showed:TC andLDL-C levels in severe LA group were higher than moderate LA group, there werestatistical differences between the two groups(P<0.05),but TG and HDL-C levelsbetween the two groups were no significant difference(P>0.05).5.The comparison between LA group and non-LA group of hypertension, diabetesand atherosclerosis were all statistically different(P<0.05).6.In the multivariate logistic regression analysis, age,gender,TC,LDL-C,hypertension and atherosclerosis were statistically different(P<0.05),but TG,HDL-Cand diabetes were all removed.Conclusion:1.TC,TG,LDL-C levels of leukoaraiosis objects were higher thannon-LA objects, among it the high levels of TC and LDL-C were risk factors forleukoaraiosis;HDL-C was not correlated with leukoaraiosis.2.TC was a risk factor for mild, moderate and severe LA,LDL-C was a risk factorfor moderate and severe LA,TG and HDL-C were not risk factors for mild, moderate orsevere LA.3.The severity of leukoaraiosis was probably correlated with TC and LDL-Clevels. 4.Advanced age, female, hypertension, atherosclerosis were risk factors forleukoaraiosis, diabetes was probably correlated with LA,but diabetes was not the riskfactors for leukoaraiosis.5.The above conclusions also illustrated that leukoaraiosis was a multivariatedisease. |
