| Blood brain barrier is the most important physiological structure for maintaining the microenvironment in the brain, and the microglia which are the main immunocompetent cell in the brain, also play a very important role as clearer. Stroke usually causes a series of changes, such as blood brain barrier damage, neurons apoptosis and death, the activation and mobilization of microglial cells, the invasion of immune cells. Sports say that activated microglia may cause the vascular endothelial cell damage in blood brain barrier. The activation time window of microglia and the function of microglial cells to the blood brain barrier in different activation phases under these pathological conditions are not yet clear.We used Evans blue to show the permeability of the blood brain barrier and GFP mice to observe the microglial activation.In conclusions, we found that:1ã€The blood brain barrier is highly correlated with the activation of microglia in the subacute phase but not in the acute phase of stroke;2ã€Degree of stroke injury only affected the range of blood brain barrier, do not affected the degree of blood brain barrier; And affected the acute active volume of microglia, do not affected the process of microglial activation;3ã€The permeability of the blood brain barrier could affect the extent of microglial activation.By studying the relationship between the blood brain barrier and the microglial activation in stroke, our data provide some reference basis for clinical application, such as drug using for different targets, action time window and way of injection. |
