The Efficacy Of Knee Arthroscopic Combined Duhuojisheng Pills In Management Of Osteoarthritis Of The Knee

Objective:It is to research and analysis the efficy of knee arthroscopic combined with the Duhuojishengwan pills for the trentment of osteoarthritis of the knee. Knee osteoarthritis majored in the elderly,is not only a degenerative bone and joint disease,but also a commonmultiple and chronic disease. The incidence of Knee osteoarthritis has increased year by year with the aggravation of the aging of the populations. Once it happens,KOA will seriously affect the patients’quality of life and work,along with the certain psychological burden.Therefore,it is important for a positive and effective treatment. Because the pathogenesis of knee osteoarthritis is not clear at present,its treatment are palliative therapy,designed to improve the symptoms and delay the development of the disease process,reduce disability and improve the quality of life. This topic is attempting to observe the functional recovery of the knee and the integrated curative effect, and provide a reliable basis for further effective treatment of knee osteoarthritis, according to the much more clinical application of knee arthroscopic combined with traditional Chinese medicine treatment of knee osteoarthritis.Methods:The research subjects are152patients with primary Knee osteoarthritis,admitted to the hospital in July2011to December2011in Taihe Hospital of Shiyan City. On the basis of treatment order,all patients were divided into a control group and a treatment group,76cases in each group. The control group was managend with arthroscopic knee surgery,while the treatment group was managed with Duhuojisheng pills on the basis of arthroscopic knee surgery, taking medicine4weeks. All arthroscopic knee surgery were completed by the same group of physicians from bone and joint branch of Taihe Hospital in Shiyan City. According to postoperative follow-up of all the patients,Two groups were compared comprehensive efficacy after treatment. And after surgery in6months, in9months, in12months, there was an assessment about active function of the knee joint,in order to analyze and compare the clinical efficacy of two groups.The datas should be handled with statistical software SPSS17.0,and Measurement data was expressed by mean and Standard deviation. The knee society function score of the two groups were compared using the t-test,and comprehensive efficacy using the chi-square test.Results:1. Comprehensive efficacy comparison:Most of the152patients improved symptoms. The control group simply knee arthroscopic debridement total efficiency was81.58%after treatment,while the treatment group was94.74%. The total efficient date of the treatment group was much higher than the other, and the difference was satistically significance(P<0.05).2. Knee function AKSS score comparison:The knee function score of the control group patients was110.50±12.70in six months after surgey, while knee Society function score of the treatment group was136.30±10.57. So knee Society function score of the treatment group was much more than the control group. The difference was satistically significance(P<0.05).The knee function score of the control group patients was139.60±11.46in nine months after surgey,while knee Society function score of the treatment group was150.60±9.63. Knee Society function score of the treatment group was much higher than the knee function score of the control group.The difference was satistically significance (P<0.05).The knee function score of the control group patients was150.40±20.18in one year after surgey,however,knee Society function score of the treatment group was167.50±15.20. Knee Society function score of the treatment group was much more than the knee function score of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Arthroscopic knee debridement combined Duhuojisheng pills was much better efficacy for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. Not only it can significantly relieve symptoms,but also improve knee function,increase the patients’ quality of life,and reduce disability.The method was based on the Holistic concept and TDS of the traditional Chinese medicine theory,which can recuperate the petients’ own body conditioning. Both Chinese and Western Medicine can complementary advantages,which could further promotion and application of clinical.
