Objective: To reveal the present situation for cervical cancer and gynecologicaldiseases of screening area, and through questionnaires to understand the screeningwillingness of local women.Methods: In this study, a significant public health services--Rural women incancer screening as the background, using cluster sampling method to select thescreening objects. Women aged30-59with no history of hysterectomy and othercontraindi-cation were selected to attend the screening project, voluntary participationand informed consent. Women’s cervical cancer screening including gynecologicalexamination and cervical cytology, Suspicious or abnormal cytology results on cervicalshedding, further colposcopy. Suspicious or abnormal colposcopy results, furtherhistopathological diagnosis, All lesions are histopathologic examination as the basis.Using systematic sampling method select the questionnaires survey. Questionnaireusing a unified design of the questionnaire, informations were obtained by somerigorous trained investigator. All the results using EpiData for double entry andmanagement. Data was analyzed by SPSS13.0software, and Statistical methods usingχ~2test, testing standards for the=0.05.Results: Point three years of the project should be screening the number35000,the number of actual screening36272,the completion rate of103.63%. The screeningresults showed the detection of abnormalities in three years of33cases,24cases ofprecancerous lesions(CINI12cases, CINII3cases, CINIII9cases), precancerouslesions of the cervical cancer detection rate of66.17per1000,000;9cases of cervicalcancer, the detection rate of24.81per1000,000. Three years to check out the18,093people of common gynecological diseases, Of which4cases of genital warts, detectionrate of11.03per1000,000;6120cases of vaginitis, the detection rate of16.87%; other reproductive tract infections of8410cases, the detection rate of23.19%;2526cases ofuterine fibroids, the detection rate of6.96%;733cases of other benign gynecologicaldiseases, the detection rate of2.02%.Study sites a total of1522women completed the questionnaire, The results showedthat the majority of the rural women of cervical cancer do not known (68.20%), Only28.80%of the people who understand cervical cancer. Awareness rate of cervical canceramong35-39age group is the highest,is about34.6%;40-44age group’s awareness rateis33.9%,the other groups’ rate is below30%. The screening for purpose of awareness72.90%.Except the55-59age group awareness was62.40%,the awareness of other agegroups are more than70.00%,35-39age group was76.40%is the highest. By the χ~2tests, each age group for cervical cancer awareness and screening purposes awarenessdifference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Display screening willingness findings: The reason for participate in the screeningwas mainly attending concerns about their health, and considerable number of peopleare listen to the village cadres to arrange. In areas, awareness for the necessary ofscreening and payment are high,97.60%of women think that a similar screen can bedone once a year,76.00%of people who are willing to bear part of the screening costs.But the competence of payment are low,69.8%of women willing to take on thescreening costs less than100yuan,21.50%of rural women that can afford the cost of100-300yuan,7.70%of women are willing to assume more than the costs of screeningmore than300yuan. The main reasons of unwilling to pay the expense are feel thatunnecessary and the difficulty of economy.Conclusion:1、2009-2011the area rural women precancerous lesions of cervicalcancer and the cervical cancer detection rate of24.81per1000,000, and6.17per1000,000.2、The person-time of common gynecological disease of local women during2009to2011is18093.3、Rural women knowledge awareness of cervical cancer islow.There is a high perception rate for the necessary of screening and payment, but thewillingness of payment is low.
