| Objective (1) To study the relationship between C/EBPα expression and micrvesseldensity(MVD) in non-small cell lung carcinoma(NSCLC).(2) To investigate theexpressions of C/EBPαand micrvessel density(MVD) in lung adenocarcinoma andsquamous cell lung carcinoma.(3) To discuss their function in carcinogenesis anddevelopment of adenocarcinoma of lung with the relationship. Methods (1)The expresstion of C/EBPα were detected in surgically treated40casesof NSCLC and its paired40cases adjacent tissues(above distance tumors5cm) byimmunhistochemical EnVision technique. Analyzed the low expression of C/EBPα inNSCLC and it relationship with different clinical pathological characteristics.(2) Theexpresstion of C/EBPα were detected in surgically treated28cases of NSCLC byimmunhistochemical EnVision technique. Analyzed the high expression of C/EBPα inlung adenocarcinoma and it relationship with different clinical pathologicalcharacteristics.(3)To identified expresstion of C/EBPαin surgically treated12cases ofsquamous cell lung carcinoma by immunhistochemical EnVision technique.(4)Themicrvessel of tumor tissuses were labeled by CD34antiboby in NSCLC in ord toanalyse the relationship between the low expression of C/EBPαwith MVD.Results (1) The positive rate of C/EBPαexpression in NSCLC was significantly lowerthan the adjacent tissues(P<0.05). No significant correlation was found among the C/EBPα expression and age, sex, TNM stages, lymph node metastasis(P>0.05). Thelow expression of C/EBPα was related to cell differentiation grade and pathologicaltype(P<0.05).(2) MVD in NSCLC with positive expression of C/EBP α wassignificantly lower than that with negative expression of C/EBPα(P<0.05).(3) Nosignificant correlation was found among the C/EBPαexpression and age, sex, TNMstages, lymph node metastasis in lung adenocarcinoma (P>0.05). The expression ofC/EBPαwas related to cell differentiation grade in lung adenocarcinoma (P<0.05).(4)There was a significant negative correlation between expressions of C/EBPα andMVD in lung adenocarcinoma(P<0.05).(5) The positive rate of C/EBPαexpression insquamous cell lung carcinoma was significantly lower than the adjacenttissues(P<0.05).Conclusion (1) C/EBPα may participates in carcinogenesis and development ofNSCLC. C/EBPα is closely related with MVD in NSCLC and it could play animportant role in lung carcinoma angiogenesis.(2)Indentified High expression ofC/EBPαin lung adenocarcinoma and low expression of C/EBPαin squamous cell lungcarcinoma.(3) The C/EBPαcould be a new vascular markers and potential therapeutictarget for lung carcinoma treated. |
