Objective Retrospective analysis of the diagnostic value of serum galactomannan(GM) and Mannans (MA) assay for the invasive fungal infectious diseases(IFD). MethodsPatients were divided to4groups,such as defined diagnosis as invasive aspergillosis(IA)/invasive candidiasis(IC), diagnosed in clinically as IA/IC, suspected diagnosed asIA/IC, and excluded IA/IC. The serum antigen of MA and GM of306patients wereassayed with ELISA method. According to results calculate the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV) and diagnosiscoincidence rate. Results When the cut-off value was I≥0.5, the sensitivity, specificity,Youden’s index, diagnosis coincidence rate, PPV, and NPV of GM were83.3%(95%CI83.3±0.15),96.5%(95%CI96.5±0.02),0.79(95%CI0.79±0.15),95.4%(95%CI95.4±0.01),66.7%(95%CI66.7±0.17), and98.6%(95%CI98.6±0.01), respectively. When the cut-off value was C≥125pg/ml, the sensitivity, specificity,Youden’s index, diagnosis coincidence rate, PPV, and NPV of MA were60.7%(95%CI60.7±0.18),97.8%(95%CI97.8±0.02),0.59(95%CI0.59±0.18),94.4%(95%CI94.4±0.01),73.9%(95%CI73.9±0.18), and96.5%(95%CI96.5±0.02),respectively. Conclusions The negative result of GM and MA have significant value toexclude IFD, the positive results of GM and MA have better accuracy for diagnosing ofIFD. This assay have practical significance for diagnosis of IFD.
