Objective: To integrate the optic-fiber sensing UV drug fast testing system includinghardware and software system, measure the main parameter of the system and calibrateunqualified parameter. Design the flow chart to program the software and apply thesystem into establishing rapid analysis methods of single-component drugs and compounddrugs.Methods: According to the standards, measure and calibrate the main systemparameters including wavelength accuracy and wavelength repeatability, et al. Designflow chart, UV absorption spectrum of drug samples can be instantly obtained when probeof integrated system instrument is inserted into the drug solution.With the largestwavelength, the minimum wavelength and absorbance as compartion,qualitative andquantitative results of single preparations of sample are obtained.With methods of UVequal absorption dual wavelength and UV dual wavelength, compound preparationsstandard atlas information is established. At the same time, simultaneous determinationmethod of active ingredient of Compound Captopril and Compound Chlorzoxazone wasestablished without separation rapid detection methods of two kinds of single preparationsand two kinds of compound preparations on the integrated system and its methodologicalstudy was established as well as a parallel control with Pharmacopoeia method. Results:Rapid drug testing system was integrated after matching hardware, accuracy ofwavelength and absorbance accuracy meets requirements of Pharmacopoeia after test andcalibration. This paper established a rapid detection method for two kinds ofsingle-component preparations with system, by methodological study showed a goodlinear relationship between concentration and absorbance, within a certain range, precision<2%, recoveries were100.6%and101.6%. Assay results showed no significantdifference compared with pharmacopoeia method. A fast analysis method of twocompound chemical preparations was established with system, by methodological studyshowed a good linear relationship between concentration and absorbance, with a certainrange, precision <3%, recoveries were in the range of100.18%and103.6%. Content deteminaton results showed no significant difference compared with pharmacopoeia.Conclusion: Optic-fiber sensing UV drug fast analysis system was established byintergrating selected hardware and parameters are in line with the requirements of theChinese Pharmacopoeia, so system can be used in rapid drug analysis. According tocharacteristic UV absorption from different types of drugs. Put forward different signalprocessing methods to UV signal, rapid analysis methods of signal-component drugs andcombination drug are established. It provides basis to the realization of the system for theinformation processing of the UV absorption of drugs.
