In recent years, the exoskeleton technology has become a new research hotspot in many disciplines of the field. The application of which covers industry, scientific research, medical treatment and military etc. However, most of the results researched by institute are only limited to adult, the one that applied to children is rare. The exoskeleton robot which many research institutions has researched at present, were adopt conventional transmission mode, however, little research has been referred to new type of transmission mode. This paper is precisely based on this to carry out the following research of children’s exoskeleton, aim to develop a new exoskeleton training system, to improve the exercise capacity of children through the auxiliary training properly. In this paper we first make an analysis on the relationship between exercises and children’s physical quality, intelligence. The second part we first made a brief introduction of the children’s characteristic. Then we chose the proper movement patterns according to children’s physical characteristics and analyzed the children’s Upper limb using the basic principle of the movement mechanism. In the third part of this paper, we raised the design requirements on the exoskeleton used by children according to the children’s physical and psychological characteristics, and then we realized the designing of the exoskeleton structure. In part four, we mainly devised the control system of motor based on CANopen, the implementation of control interface based on MFC and OGRE3D,the train control strategy and so on.In this paper we combined the exoskeleton with virtual reality technology, use two kinds of training control strategy, which is specially proposed for this set of training system, realized real-time interaction between the exoskeleton and game scene. In addition this set of exoskeleton training system also introduced into music, voice prompt sensory stimuli, which helped improve the children’s attention. In the fifth part through the single DOF experiment and overall functional experiments on the exoskeleton prototype system. Preliminary verified the feasibility of Bowden-cable, functionality and reliability of the of the exoskeleton training system, and the feasibility of the control strategy. This paper solve the problems such as children don’t have enough enthusiasm in exercise, lack of exercise, and the training intensity hard to control by introducing Exoskeleton technology, through the way increase the intensity of training.
