An Evaluation Research On Entirely Accompan Service For Positive Screening In HIV Voluntary Counseling And Testing (VCT)

Ten years ago, a policy about AIDS named "Four Frees and One Care Policy" was launched. Since then, HIV detection rate and the positive detection rate have been increased gradually, at the same time, positive turnover rate also maintained at a high level, which laid a huge hidden trouble to our society, AIDS prevention and control work as well as infected persons. It has little effect although the relevant departments try various devices to solve the problem. Based on the perspective of social work,24service objects were referred who were positive in VCT screening test. In addition, the research has been provided the "entirely accompany service" for them at least one month and no one person lost. In this study, evaluation research methodology is used to prove the effectiveness and feasibility of the "entire accompany" social work service for reducing the positive screening turnover rate. Finally, this paper explores the potential and development space as well as the limitations of "entirely accompany" service.
