| Objective To investigate the relationship between the occurrence andseverity of diabetic retinopathy (DR), the occurrence and severity of diabetic macularedema (DME). Method Secretion branch and ophthalmic diagnostic for the diabeticretinopathy combined diabetic macular edema patients randomly selected10cases (10eyes) were included in this study. Inclusion criteria were: all selected objectsendocrinology, history of diabetes diabetes diagnosed several years line central vision, intraocular pressure in the eye, and direct ophthalmoscope, slit lamp joint front mirrorfundus examination, dilated fundus photography, optical coherence tomographytechnique (OCT), sodium fluorescein angiography (FFA), are in line with the diabeticretinopathy and diabetic macular edema clinical diagnostic criteria. First of all to askrelevant medical history, followed by ophthalmic system checks. Detailed staging ofpatients with DR and DME and in accordance with the relevant standards. Analysis ofthe relationship between the various cases of diabetic retinopathy and diabetic macularedema. Results Diabetic macular edema are distributed in each period of thediabetic retinopathy, diabetic macular edema can occur in any stage of the diabeticretinopathy and its severity and the diabetic retinopathy severity not parallel.Conclusion Diabetic macular edema are distributed in each period of the diabeticretinopathy, diabetic macular edema can occur in any stage of the diabetic retinopathyand its severity and the diabetic retinopathy severity not parallel.
