| Objective To estimate the curative effect and safety of benazepril combiningnifedipine in the therapy of essential hypertension. Methods Databases covering CNKI, CSJD, CBM, WanFang database, VIP knowledge,Pubmed, Cochrane Library, EMBASE, ISI Web of knowledge were retrieved forrandomized controlled trials about the comparative treatment of essential hypertensionwith benazepril combining nifedipine (experimental group) or single benazepril ornifedipine (control group). The quality was controlled using standard qualityrecommended on Cochrane handbook5.1.0and all data were performed on RevMan4.2.10.Results A total of5researches were enrolled in our research. Results performed on thesoftware were described as follows:(1) gross efficiency: value of gross efficiency ofexperimental group was higher than that of control group (OR=5.72,95%CI=(2.93,11.16),P<0.01).(2) effects on systolic blood pressure: value of combining group wassignificantly lower than that of single group (WMD=8.38,95%CI=(6.56,10.21),P<0.01).(3) effects on diastolic blood pressure: value of combining group decreasemore than that diminution in single group(WMD=8.76,95%CI=(7.00,10.51),P<0.01).(4) Occasion of adverse events after therapy of experimental group has unremarkabledifference to that of control group. Conclusion Evidence discovery at this time indicated a better consequence of therapyon essential hypertension using benazepril combining with nifedipine, not singlebenazepril nor nifedipine. |
