Object Developed a tendon bone anastomosis device (TBAD) by ourselves, anduesed it to take a biomechanical test for repairing the distal injury of tendon, so as toprovide a new treatment for tendons rupture. Methods Got24hind legs by killing12healthy adult New Zealand white rabbitswith air embolism, they were randomly divided into four groups: the normal patellartendon group (A), the tendon bone anastomotic device repairs group (B), steel wire repairsgroup (C) and bone anchor repairs group (D). Uesd MINI Bionix II fatigue testing machineto load axial tension step by step untill Patellar tendons ruptured(or loosen), In the statethat the tensile load was20N, experimenter recorded the strain of the patellar tendonattachment points and the maximum tensile load when the patellar tendon ruptured(orloosen). Results Divided the date of Tensile load of20N tibia patellar tendon attachmentpoints strain into four groups, they were Group(A):28.11±12.86, Group(B):127.19±46.49,Group(C):130.76±51.93, Group(D):132.48±53.59. The date of Group(A) was obviousdifference with the3other groups(P﹤0.001), but there was no significant differenceamong Group(B)、Group(C) and Group(D)(P﹥0.05). The date of the maximum tensilestress of patellar tendon ruptured (or loosen) was respectively71.30±1.77in Group(A),57.74±15.96in Group(B),27.86±5.02in Group(C),23.09±5.01in Group(D). The date ofGroup(A) differed greatly with Group(B)(P﹤0.05); Simultaneously, Group(A) differedsignificantly with group C and group D(P﹤0.001). Group(B) differed greatly with group Cand group D(P﹤0.001), but there was no obvious difference between Group(B) and Group(C)、Group(D)(P﹥0.05).Conclusion1. The Biological changes of mechanical properties was obvious when the end of thepatellar tendon injury. Tendon bone anastomosis device, steel wire(SW) and boneanchor(BA) repair could not immediately fully recover the strain of the patellar tendonattachment points of the tibia and could not change the maximum tensile load when thepatellar tendon ruptured.2. Looking from the maximum tensile load of the patellar tendon ruptured (or loosen), thetendon bone anastomosis device to repair the end of the patellar tendon injury was closerto normal than the steel wire and bone anchor.
