| Silver Island Film (SiFs) substrates with different size of silver nanoparticles were synthesized and characterized, In this paper, the mental-enhanced singlet oxygen (1O2) production during photosensitization was quantitatively evaluated by using the1O2-specific fluorescence probe Singlet Oxygen Sensor Green reagent (SOSG). In order to explain the experimental phenomenon better, we researched the morphology of the metal nano-island film and its absorption spectrum firstly. The results show that the absorbance of the SiFs is increased with the size of particles increasing, and its peak position were440nm,445nm and450nm in turn. The synthesized SiFs have the characteristics of plasmon resonance under the conditions of short time interval and deposition time. Secondly, we researched the enhanced effect of`O2with SiFs, using SOSG As compared to the control group without SiFs substrate, the1O2production for Rose Bengal on SiFs substrates with silver nanoparticles of20nm and30nm was significantly enhanced by a factor of2.56and4.15, respectively. However, the enhanced effect cannot be observed when the diameter of silver nanoparticles was increased to40nm. The obtained results indicate that the mental-enhanced1O2production during photosensitization is depend on the diameter of silver nanoparticles on the SiFs substrate. |
