Objective:To study the angiographic characteristics and clinical characteristic inpatients more than50years old with the impaired glucose regulationMethod:A total of125cases with coronary heart disease were divided into thenormal glucose tolerance group(NGT35cases), impaired glucose tolerancegroup(IGT51cases) and type2diabetes mellitus group(T2DM39cases),accordingto oral glucose tolerance test; the fasting plasma glucose two hour postprandial bloodglucose after taking75g oral glucose, total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),lowdensity lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),BUN, creatinine(Cr) were detected, meanwhile all cases were examined bycoronary angiography, observe clinical features:age, gender, lipid, renal function andcoronary artery disease in presence of difference.Results:(1) There were no significant differences in situations (including age,gender,BUN,Cr)(P>0.05),but there were significant differences in higher fasting bloodglucose, two hour postprandial blood glucose, BMI, TG(P﹤0.05)and lowerHDL-C(P﹤0.05)glucose among three groups.(2) The changes of coronary arteries of patients of Group IGT and Group T2DM wereseverer, more multiverses vascular lesions were found. There were no significantdifferences between three groups. There were no significant differences betweenGroup IGT and Group T2DMConclusion:IGR,similar to T2DM,can cause severe vessel lesions.OGTT isimportant in the early diagnosis of patients with abnormal glucose metabolism....
