Provide the oretical support and practical guidance for treatment of choice with health education and rehabilitation care intervention in patients. Thus improving the quality of life of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps patients. Methods:We adopt the patients varicose veins of lower extremity of80cases which receive hospital care in Second Department of General Surgery, the First Affiliated Hospital of Shihezi University, from November2011to December2012(CEAP classification,2). Randomization. Record their general situation, observe recovery time of the postoperative, the recurrence rate and complications. Set up the data base by using the software SPSS17.0, Use the application of t-test to compare with the normal distribution of the measurement data (X±s);non-normal distribution data applications, Use Wilcoxon rank sum test, compared group before and after surgery. The groups were compared by Mann-whitney test,P<0.05considered statistically significant.Result:1. Operative time:86.5±6.2(50-112) minutes of traditional surgery group,42.7±4.6(35-70) minutes of hardener group, there is significant difference between two groups (P<0.01).2. Postoperative recovery time:9.4±1.2(7-14) days of traditional surgery group,2.2±0.4(2-3) days of hardener group, there is significant difference between two groups (P<0.01). The situation of postoperative follow-up:1. CEAP classification decreased compared with preoperative in both group of patients.2. Under Doppler ultrasound review after postoperative, traditional surgery group(2patients were lost) have5patients did not complete occlusion after three months, hardener group have6patients did not complete occlusion after three months, there is no significant difference between two groups (P>0.05);traditional surgery group(2patients were lost) have5patients did not complete occlusion after six months, hardener group have5patients did not complete occlusion after six months, there is no significant difference between two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:Foam sclerotherapy showed better result for the treatment of varicose veins of lower extremity which can shorten the operation time and postoperative recovery time, the method is simple, less painful and good repeatability.
