Objective: To investigate the effect of locking the difference between the upper platefracture fixation with intramedullary nail femur, provides an option for clinical treatment. Methods: A fracture of interlocking intramedullary nailing December2010-August2012Fuyuan compliance department treated femur bone in a locking plate fixation orclinical data on42patients were retrospectively analyzed, including the line locking platefixation (A group)20cases, the interlocking intramedullary nailing22patients (group B),by two groups of42patients were followed up comparing operative time, blood loss, theaverage length of stay, fracture healing time and HSS knee score and other indicators. Results: The operation time: A group of110minutes on average, group B was90minutes. Bleeding: A group average530ml, group B was bleeding370ml, length ofhospital stay: A group was10.7days, an average of9.8days in group B. During thehospital stay with no patients died, all cases incisions healed, no major complicationsoccurred in42patients attending all been followed up for6to18months, an average of13.5months, fracture healing time: A group of3to6months average4.6months;2~statistically significant4.7months, on average3.7months, the two groups were comparedoperative time, mean intraoperative blood loss, length of stay and the average healing timeof fractures were significantly different, P <0.05, there are group B. According to HSSscore: A Group: excellent in14cases, good in4cases,1case and poor in1case, goodrate:90%; Group B: excellent in18cases, good in3cases,1case, good rate:95.46%.Group B was higher than group A fine. A group of one case because of fracture fixationfracture did not heal, and the remaining cases were bone healing, which occurred in onepatient in group A screw loose, instruct reduced activity and the addition of externalfixation after6months after fracture healing. Conclusion: This set of experiments using femoral intramedullary nail in thecross-section of the fracture from the clinical efficacy superior to locking plate..
