Research Of Three Kinds Of Resin Adhesive System On Retention Of The Glass Fiber Posts

Objective: To evaluate difference of bonding effects of fiber posts cemented to rootcanals with three kinds of different resin adhesive and to guide the rational choose of theluting systems during clinical work.Methods:1.30new extracted non-caries single root premolar teeth of similar size werecollected.The crowns were sectioned2mm above the cemento-enamel junction level inadjacent side, and endodontic treatment were performed, the roots were prepared after7days, and the teeth were randomly divided into three groups with10teeth in each groups,three resin adhensive system:One-step Plus/Duo-Link (DL) total-etching adhesivesystem; DC bond and DC core (DC) self-etching adhesive system; Embrace Core (EC)self-adhesive system were used respectively to bond glass fiber posts (MATCHPOST,RTD)with1.4mm in diameter. The tensile testing machine was used to detect the bond strengthof fiber post. The mean bond strengths values (N) were compared using one-way ANOVAand LSD tests.2. In accordance with inclusion criteria,60teeth of56patents were divided into3groups(n=20). All teeth were restored with fiber post-core crown using three resin cements:One-Step Plus/DuoLink (DL), DC Bond and DC core (DC); Embrace Core (EC). The datewill make a statistical analysis of were adopted for carrying out18months follow up andfor comparing difference of clinical indices of three groups．Results:1.The bonding strength of fiber posts cemented to root canals is significantdifference with different adhesive system. Mean bond strengths were: Duo-Link group(199.49±40.12) N, DC bond group (149.51±30.51) N, Embrace Core group (157.98±32.70)N. Duo-Link group obtained the highest mean value than the other two. The one-wayanalysis of variance (ANOVA) and LSD tests revealed that, Duo-Link group had asignificantly higher bond strength than DC bond group (P<0.05), and a significantdifference between Duo-Link group and Embrace Core group was showed (P>0.05), nosignificant difference could be found between DC group and EC group. 2. Clinical use glass fiber post repair the residual roots and crowns after18months followup, there was no significant difference on the three resin adhesive systems.Conclusion: The clinical efect of three kinds of adhesive resin has no significantdifference．But，The operation time of self-adhesive is shorter than the total-etching andself-etching.
