| Objective: To research whether COMP associated with osteoarthritis progression, and whether it has clinical value for the early diagnosis of KOA by measuring COMPlevel. Methods: To manufacture the KOA model by Improved Hulth method; to observethe changes of DR of model during different time; to detect the level of serum COMPof model by ELISA during different time, using T test to making correlation analysis. Results:â‘ Improved Hulth method could be successfully replicated arthritis modelof the early, middle and late;â‘¡the control groups: the level of serum COMP wasrespectively3.287±0.265ã€3.261±0.273ã€3.292±0.251ã€3.252±0.259in before building, two weeks, six weeks and ten weeks, There was no statistically significant differencesin each stage(average>0.05);â‘¢t he experimental group:the level of serum COMPwas respectively3.300±0.126ã€3.695±0.144ã€4.093±0.156ã€3.814±0.162, There arestatistically significant of comparative differences between groups and within thegroup(average<0.01).Conclusions:â‘ Improved Hulth method can successfully replicate rabbit animalmodel of KOA;â‘¡COMP associated with osteoarthritis progression;â‘¢COMP hasauxiliary value for the early diagnosis of KOA, but as the "gold standard" of thediagnosis research needs to be continued... |
