ObjectivesTo compare the Current therapeutic effects between endovenousradiofrequency treatment and conventional surgery for chronic venousinsufficiency of lower limbs. Summary the operation technique ofendovenous radiofrequency closed and clinical application value of chronicvenous insufficiency of lower limbs.MethodsData of45limbs of41patients treated by endovenous radiofrequencytreatment(endovenous radiofrequency treatment group) and20limbs of20patients by traditional surgery (traditional surgery group) were analyzed andcompared in terms of operation time (min), postoperative pain(score),postoperative hospitalized duration(d), complications(case), and one-yearrecurrence rate. ResultsPostoperative pain: endovenous radiofrequency treatment group was3.40±1.01, conventional surgery group was7.63±1.50; postoperarivehospitalized duration: endovenous radiofrequency treatment group was4.60±1.60d, conventional surgery group was8.58±2.32d. Endovenousradiofrequency treatment group had less postoperative pain and shorterpostoperarive hospitalized duration than traditional surgery group(P<0.05).Operation time: endovenous radiofrequency treatment group was107.68±33.96min, conventional surgery group was134.37±46.57min;complications: endovenous radiofrequency treatment group was2cases,conventional surgery group was3cases. The operation time andcomplications had no significant differences between two groups(P>0.05).The two group had few complications and had no recurrence in one year.ConclusionAs a treatment for varicose veins, endovenous radiofrequencytreatment has minimally invasiveness, rapid recovery, safe and effective, and it is worthy to be recommended.
