Along with the continuous development of the technology ofultrasonic imaging, intraoperative ultrasonography has become one of themost significant imaging tools for surgery diagnostics. Concerning liversurgery, intraoperative ultrasonography could accurately localize the tumorin order to guide the establishing of surgical decisions, which made surgeryeven more “precise, meticulous and accurate”. In addition, intraoperativeultrasonography could improve the diagnostic rate of metastases in the liverand small hepatocellular carcinoma, and also avoid missed diagnosis,which in some point, reduced the recurrence rate and prolonged life cycle.Last but not least, intraoperative ultrasonography take advantages that noother tests compare, in the meantime, has grown into a vital inspectionmethod in liver surgery.
