objective: With the development of imaging, the detectionrate of white matter damage is getting higher and higher. At present, thethe white brain damage cognitive function has become a hot topic. Thispaper focuses on attention function in patients with ischemic white matterdamage, explore reflect Note dysfunction in patients with ischemic whitematter damage electrophysiological parameters. Methods: Select60patients aged50-80as a case group, according to Fazekas white matterlesion grade evaluation method will be60patients were divided into mildgroup and the moderate to severe group, each of30. Selection of30normal old people as control group, and match the two groups of age, level of education, and gender. Normal group, mild group, the moderateto severe group completed the following test and tasks:1.the overallcognitive function assessment: Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA),Mini-mental State Examination (MMSE), the elderly Cognitive AbilitiesScreening Instrument (CASI);2.neuropsychological tests:(1) Thecomputer assisted testing: the Stroop Color and Word Test (Stroop test),Continuous Performance Task (CPT).(2) the paper and pencil test: TrailMaking Test(TMT).3.the test of event related potential: mismatchnegative wave (MMN) and P300.4.the neuropsychological tests and event related potentials for correlation analysis.Result: In the MMSE test, there are no different between the mild group and normal group, in themoderate to severe group group and the normal group was statisticallysignificant, the moderate to severe group and mild group was statisticallysignificant. In the MoCA test,Ischemic white matter lesion patients of themild group and the moderate to severe group compared with normalcontrol group, MoCA scores were diminished in the these groups, and themoderate to severe group was significantly impaired. CASI test, there areno differernt between the mild group and normal group, the moderate tosevere group is a significant reduction; computer-aided test results showthat (1) in the Stroop test, the mild group and the moderate to severegroup were compared with the normal group, reaction time wereprolonged, interfered effect were increased. Especially, the reaction timeof moderate to severe group is more significant increase and interferedeffect is more obvious. More statistically significant in the severe groupand mild group. Mild group and moderate to severe group, respectively, compared with the normal group, the error rate and interfered effect wereincreased in the moderate to severe group error rate and increase theirinterfered effect is more obvious. Mild group and the moderate to severegroup comparison there is statistically significant.(2) ContinuousPerformance Task (CPT), the mild group and the moderate to severegroup and the normal group comparison, the average response time is extending, and the moderate to severe group increased significantly.moderate to severe group and mild group was statistically significant.Mild group and moderate to severe group, respectively, compared withthe normal group, the false negative rate of increase in the severe groupincreased significantly. moderate to severe group and mild group wasstatistically significant.(3) Trail Making Test, in the part of TMT-A,comparing mild group with the normal group, the number oftime-consuming no statistically significant. the number oftime-consuming is increasing obvious in the moderate to severe group.Compared to the mild group and severe group was statistically significant.in the part of TMT-B, the mild group and severe group compared withnormal group, the number of time-consuming, and in the moderate tosevere group the number of time-consuming increased significantly. Inthe moderate to severe group and mild group compared statisticallysignificant. Mild group and moderate to severe group comparisons of theamount of interference with the normal group, moderate to severeinterference increased significantly. The moderate to severe groupcompared with mild, moderate and severe groups interference effectincreases, there is statistically significant. Event-related potentialsdemand that (1) mild group and moderate to severe group and thenormal group comparisons were prolonged P300latency, volatilitydecreased. Recombinant latency more significantly, a significant reduction in volatility. In the moderate to severe group and mild groupcompared statistically significant (2) in the MMN detection, the normalgroup and mild group was not statistically significant, in the moderate tosevere group and the normal group amplitude decreased and latency.Severe group and mild group was statistically significant. Onevent-related potentials and neuropsychological testing research (1)Stroop test and CPT good correlation with the P300and MMN latencyand amplitude,(2) in connection experiment, the connection Test Part Aand P300and MMN latency and amplitude of the poor and theconnection B testing and interfered effect with the P300and MMNlatency and amplitude of a good correlation.Conclusions:1. the overallcognitive function assessment study found that cognitive impairment inpatients with ischemic cerebral white matter lesion, especially in thecognitive impairment in patients with the moderate to severe groupischemic brain white matter lesions are more significant.2.neuropsychology, the computer assisted testing(Stroop test,CPT andTMT test) study found that patients with mild brain white matter lesionmainly affected parts of the selective attention; moderate to severeischemic cerebral white matter lesion is common in patients withattention disorders, including sustaining of attention, selectivity ofattention, and Metastatic of attention.3.P300and MMN can pay attentionto the function of ischemic cerebral white matter lesion detection, through correlation analysis, the Stroop test, CPT and TMT has better correlationbetween P300and MMN, so also can as a supplementary means for theischemic cerebral white matter lesion caused the attention of theimpairment test.4. In mild ischemic white matter damage,P300is moresensitive than MMN, so P300can be used as a good indicator of ischemicwhite matter damage.
