Objective:The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between quality of life and positive psychological qualities (posttraumatic growth, hope trait, silver lining) in long-term breast cancer survivors.Methods:An investigation was conducted in breast cancer survivors with a minimum of2years after diagnosis at a third-level grade-A hospital in Linyi, Shandong Province. Instruments were General Information Questionnaire, The Functional Assessment of ChronicTherapy-Breast, Adult Dispositional Hope Scale and Sliver Lining Questionnaire used to collect demographic and clinical information and assess quality of life, hope trait, silver lining and posttraumatic growth of the participants. Statistical analysis include one-way ANOVA and independent t-test to compare quality of life in different patients; The relationship between quality of life, posttraumatic growth, hope trait and silver ling was analyzed by pearsoncorrelation analysis; multiple liner regression analysis was made to explore the influencing factors of quality of life in long-term breast cancer survivors.Results:Quality of life varies in education levels (P=0.067)、family month income (P=0.030)、source of medical costs (P=0.019) and employment status (P=0.041).There is a significant correlation between quality of life and posttraumatic growth (r=0.302, P<0.01),silver lining (r=0.268, P<0.01). Family month income (P=0.007) and posttraumatic growth(P=0.014) are the predictors of quality of life. Conclusions:(1) Quality of life is relative to and surgery and marriage status;(2) There is a positive relation between quality of life and posttraumatic growth, hope traitand silver lining in long-term breast cancer survivors.(3)Posttraumaticgrowthand hope trait can predict the quality of life of long-term breast cancer patients.
