Clinical Study On Immune Function Of Patients With Menopausal Syndrome By The Therapy Of Invigorating The Kidney And Tonifing Spleen

Purpose:To observe the clinical effects on the immune function and menopausal syndrome by the therapy of invigorating the kidney and tonifing spleen.Method:To research the clinical effects on menopausal syndrome and the enhancement of immune function,45cases who met the inclusion criteria were utilized one course (3months) of the therapy of invigorating the kidney and tonifing spleen. The modified Kupperman menopausal symptoms rating scale integration (KMI),frequency of hot flashes and sweeting and serum DHEA(s),FSH, E2,CD4,CD8,CD4/CD8,as well as BMD were observed before and after the treatment.Result:1)Clinical effects:6cases were cured, accounted for13.33%;14cases were markedly improved, accounted for31.11%;effectiveness in17cases, accounted for37.78%;8cases were invalid, accounting for17.78%. The total effective rate is82.22%.2)Clinical symptoms and signs:Before and after treatment, there were statistically significant difference (P<0.05) for the frequency of hot flash and sweating.3) The point of modified Kupperman symptom:Before and after treatment, there were statistically significant difference (P<0.05) for the point of modified Kupperman symptom.4)Hormone level:Before and after treatment, FSH level dropped and E2level increased, but too small to be statistical significance (P>0.05); On the contrary, there were statistically significant difference (P<0.05) for the DHEA(s).5)SerumCD4, CD8and CD4/CD8:Before and after treatment, CD8increased, but too small to be statistical significance (P>0.05); On the contrary, there were statistically significant difference (P<0.05) for CD4and CD4/CD8.6)Bone mineral density:Before and after treatment,BMD increased, but too small to be statistical significance (P>0.05);Conclusion:The frequency of hot flash and sweeting couid be effectively reduced and the clinical symptoms couid be relieved through the therapy of invigorating the kidney and tonifing spleen,as well as serum DHEA(s), CD4,CD4/CD8increased. Through adjusting endocrine-imm--une function was enhanced and the long-term complications were prevented. Thus, life quality of the patients could be improved.
