Objective: Observe the clinical outcomes of lower extremity arterial disease ofdiabetic patients treated with Huangqi Shuluo Yin when belongs to syndrome of deficiencyof both qi and yin along with blood stasis.Methods:60patients with lower extremity arterial disease of diabetic patients inaccordance with the inclusion criteria were allocated to two groups randomly.Theobservation group(n=30)were treated with Huangqi Shuluo Yin and the control group(n=30)were treated with xuesaitong tablets. Both of the two groups got diabeteseducation,alimentary control and moderate exercise. All the patients were treated8weeksas a course and then outcomes were evaluated.Results:The total efficiency of the observation group is83.3%,which is significantlyhigher than the control group(P<0.05).The observation group was superior to the controlgroup in improving the symptoms of the disease and reducing the clinical symptom score(P<0.05).The observation group can better improve blood lipid,fibrinogen and ABIcompared with the control group(P<0.05).No adverse reactions were observed during thetreatment.Conclusion: Huangqi Shuhuo Yin is superior to xuesaitong tablets in treating lowerextremity arterial disease of diabetic patients.Huangqi Shuhuo Yin can well improve bloodlipid,fibrinogen and ABI.
