Purpose: This paper reviewed and summaried the latest research in the TCM treatmentof CHF as the basis of studying the TCM treatment of CHF,reviewed the CHF cases of heartdisease treatment area in affiliated hospital of Changchun University of Traditional ChineseMedicine in2011.Summarized the clinical Syndrome type and clinical efficacy to assess theclinical application of clinic program of Chinese medicine in CHF,so as to provide theclinical evidence of establishment and optimization of the TCM treatment programs in CHF.Method: Reviewing the374cases of hospitalized patients of the Department ofCardiology in our hospital between January1,2011to31December2011which weredefinitely diagnosed as CHF,summarized the clinical pattern according to TCM syndromediagnostic criteria,298cases treated by Chinese medicine Differential Treatment and214cases treated by treatment programs, respectively, were assessed by efficacy evaluation ofcardiac function and TCM syndrome, and randomized follow-up of90cases which used thetreatment program, to observe readmission rates and mortality within six months.Statistiealmethods: The statistical was used the software of SPSS13.0, P<0.05was consideredstatistically significant.Result: clinical syndromes of374cases of CHF in patients were summarized as Qideficiency and blood stasis57cases,Yang Qi deficiency, stasis water blocking collaterals177cases,Yin and yang deficiency, stasis water blocking collaterals35cases,Qi and yindeficiency, phlegm and blood stasis84cases,of which the Yang Qi decline, stasis waterblocking collaterals accounted for47.33%,which was the main syndrome type of CHF. Eachtype the female patients were more than male. The heart function level distribution betweendifferent syndromes of CHF was statistically significant (P<0.05).the disease course betweendifferent syndromes had significant differences (P<0.05).Differential Treatment efficacyanalysis of298cases with heart failure showed that the efficacy of cardiac function in thetotal effective ratio was92.95%,the TCM syndromes total effective ratio was93.62%and theefficacy between different syndromes were significant different (P<0.05).the efficacy ofdifferent heart function level was significant different (P<0.05).Conclusion: TCM clinical syndrome type of CHF had the Qi deficiency and blood stasis,Yang Qi deficiency, stasis water blocking collaterals,Yin and yang deficiency, stasiswater blocking collaterals,Qi and yin deficiency, phlegm and blood stasis, and the Yang Qidecline, stasis water blocking collaterals was the main syndrome type of CHF.Each effectiverate of Qi deficiency and blood stasis,Yang Qi deficiency, stasis water blocking collaterals, and Qi and yin deficiency, phlegm and blood stasis was more than90%,which may be thesuperiority syndrome type of the TCM treatment of CHF.The effective rate of heart functionII~Ⅲ grade was more than95%,it was possible that to use TCM differential treatmen in CHFheart function Ⅱ~Ⅲ class had more superiority TCM treatment can significantly changed theclinical symptoms and heart function in patients with CHF,and improved patients’ quality oflife, reduced readmission rates and mortality. The program had some significance for clinicalTCM treatment of CHF, but it also had its limitations and should increase the commonclinical syndromes such as qi and yin deficiency, phlegm and blood stasis, treated byyiqiyangyin, expectorant the stasis using ShengmaiYin addition.
