Relative Study Of Artery Elasticity And Serum Resistin By E-Tracking Technology Of Carotid Artery In Smokers

Objective to detect artery elasticity function in smokers by E-Tracking Technology of Carotid Artery. To detect the level of serum resistin in smokers. To study the relation on artery elasticity function and the level of serum resistin.138physical examinees were selected from2011.9-2012.3in THE FIRST AFFILIATED HOSPITAL OF HEBEI NORTH UNIVERSITY, of them38were non-smokers (male23, female15).According to cigarette-smoke index(CSI), smokers were divided to group I (34cases CSI:1～400),Ⅱ(36cases CSI:401-800),Ⅲ(30cases CSI:801～1200). Sever abnormal hepatic and renal function, Chronic Heart Failure, acute cerebrovascular disease, Atrial Fibrillation and other severe arrhythmia, thyroid diseases, Malignant Tumor, hematological diseases, abnormal glucose metabolism, and acute infection history were excluded by taking history, physical examination, Electrocardiogram, chest film, blood routine, urine routine, related biochemical examination and other auxiliary examination. Carotid plaque, Stenosis, intima media thickness at expansion of common carotid artery (≤1.2mm) and other intima media thickness(≤1.0mm) were excluded by high frequency ultrasound examination. The vascular intima media thickness and left and right vascular average value was detected. Arterial Compliance(AC), Stiffness parameter(β), Pressure-strain Elastic Modulus(Ep), Augmentation Index(AI) and Pulse Wave Velocity(PWV) of common carotid artery was evaluated by ET. Height, weight and Body Mass Index (BMI) of all examinees were measured. Fasting venous blood were collected, and blood lipid, creatinine and fasting blood glucose were detected by automatic biochemistry analyzer. The level of serum resistin were detected by ELISA. As shown above, the results showed as follows:There was no statistical difference in years, gender, systolic pressure, diastolic blood pressure, BMI, TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C, creatinine and fasting blood glucose between smokers group and non-smokers group(P<0.05).The intima media thickness of smokers-group I were thicker than them of non-smokers-group, while There was no statistical difference between smokers-group I and non-smokers-group(P>0.05). There was statistical difference in smokers-group II, smokers-group III and non-smokers-group(P<0.05). There was no statistical difference in Ep,β, AC, AI and PWV0between left-common carotid artery and right-common carotid artery. The level of serum resistin was positively related with βand PWVβ(r=0.346, P=0.003; r=0.305, P=0.009).There was no statistical difference in Ep, β, AC, AI and PWV β between smokers-group I and non-smokers-group(P>0.05); Ep,β, AC, AI and PWV P of smokers-group II were higher than them of smokers-group I, AC of smokers-group II were lower than them of smokers-group I and there was statistical difference between two groups(P<0.05). Ep, β, AC, AI and PWV β of smokers-group III were higher than them of smokers-group II, AC of smokers-group III were lower than them of smokers-group II and there was statistical difference between two groups(P<0.05or P<0.01).The level of serum resistin, Ep,β, AC, AI and PWV β in smokers were higher than them in non-smokers and there was statistical difference between two groups (P<0.05); AC of smokers-group were lower than them of non-smoker group and there was statistical difference between two groups(P<0.05).6The level of serum resistin had postive correlation with p. PWVβ(r=0.346, P=0.003; r=0.305, P=0.009)In conclusion, Smoking population are detected by E-Tracking Technology and early-carotid Artery Elasticity changing are diagnosed according to the dynamic change value in order to have the guidance for prevention and treatment. The serum resistin plays an important role in atherosclerosis and decrudescence in Artery Elasticity Function.
