Objective:The purpose of the study was to detect the expression of bFGF (basic fibroblast growth factor) protein and mRNA in IUA and non-IUA patients to discuss the role that bFGF plays in IUA.Methods:The expressions of bFGF in the endometrium were investigated by immunohistochemistry and reverse transcription-PCR,60patients with intrauterine adhesion and30patients of normal uterine cavity with infertility were enrolled. The correlation between bFGF and the degree of IUA was analyzed by statistical method.Results:1.The results of immunohistochemistry:bFGF was located in endometrial glands and stoma. The expressions of bFGF protein in patients with IUA were higher than the patients with non-IUA (P<0.05). Also, the expressions of bFGF in endometrium of patients with severe IUA were higher than the moderate ones, and the patients with moderate IUA were higher than the patients with mild IUA (p<0.05).2.The results of RT-PCR:The expressions of bFGF mRNA were higher than the patients with non-IUA (P<0.05). Meanwhile, the expressions of bFGF mRNA mRNA in endometrium of patients with severe IUA were higher than the moderate ones, and the patients with moderate IUA were higher than the patients with mild IUA (p<0.05), matched the results of immunohistoche--mistry。Conclusion:There were high expressions of bFGF in endometrium with IUA, which suggested that bFGF may associate with IUA;The research found that the expression of bFGF in endometrium was probably associated with the severity of IUA> which suggest that bFGF may participate with the development of IUA。...
