| Objectives:To understand the status of Humane and Social Science Curriculums of nursing undergraduate colleges in Hunan Province;To analyse the evaluation and needs of nursing students for Humane and Social Science Curriculums; To Construct the program of Humane and Social Science Curriculums.Methods:The present study employed cross-sectional designed study.In the first part, to collect and analyse the curriculum plans of7nursing undergraduate colleges. In the second part, a cluster random sampling method was adopted.660nursing students were recuited from7nursing undergraduate colleges in Hunan Province. The evaluation about the sate of nursing students for Humane and Social Science Curriculums were collected from participants. In the third part, a self-made questionnaire was applied in the construction of Humane and Social Science Curriculums establishment.Results:(1) The most kinds of Humane and Social Science Curriculums in7nursing undergraduate colleges was21, the least species was7. There were4colleges did not open the compulsory curriculums except the curriculums regulated by the state.The ratio of compulsory curriculums and elective course s in the remaining3colleges were4:3,5:9,1:5.(2)31.5%nursing studengs were satisfaction with the practical effect of Humane and Social Science Curriculums.36%nursing students agreed with that the scope of curriculums was wide.39%nursing students thought Humane and Social Science Curriculums were advanced.22%nursing students read the books about Humane and Social Science in library. The campus culture could satisfy35%nursing students.(3) The Humane and Social Science Curriculums were devided into three parts:public curriculums, medical foundational curriculums, nursing professional curriculums. Conclusions:(1) The periods and the curriculum forms were difference during the nursing undergraduate colleges.The nursing undergraduate students were lack of understanding about the Humane and Social Science Curriculums.They were not satisfatory with the implementation effect. The resources of the library as a learning way were failed to use well.(2) The establishment of Humane and Social Science Curriculums was constructed, it synthesized the ideas of students, teachers, professions and reflected the subjectivity of students and teachers. |
