The Development Dilemma And Countermeasures Of Home Health Care

Home health care, namely the way of health care that the medical treatment unit supplies inspection, treatment and nursing care to patients who are willing to accept and suit for medical service in home, set up the sickbed in the family and provide service. At the beginning of this century, our country entered the aging society, on the one hand, due to the main body of home health care is the elderly, the aging of population has brought the huge demand for home health care. On the other hand, in recent years, instead of flourishing in the worldwide, home health care is facing a dilemma phase in China. In face of the contradiction, this paper took Shanghai as an example, used qualitative research method into the ground, had in-depth interviews with part of the community residents and medical staffs in the community health service centers,came to a conclusion that the reasons for difficulties in development of home health care are the weak supply power and family home health care demand restriction, connecting with the aging committee existing data and Shanghai health statistics yearbooks, etc. The weak power supply of home health care is mainly the subject-the government, medical institutions and medical personnel to maximize the interests of chosen to the result of the medical risk and medical field; And the lack of family support and medical security system is imperfect, limited the ability to choose domestic sickbed. Through the full text analysis and the plight of the current domestic sickbed development are mainly the following three:one is the excessive market-oriented influence behavior choice of the subjects, interests become the target of the subjects; Second, national responsibility retreat, imperfect social security system, makes the final responsibility are sinking to the individuals and the hospital. Third, the family structure miniaturization, family support power is weak. And accordingly puts forward suggestions for the sustainable development of home health care:strengthening the responsibility of the government, increasing its cooperation with residents’committees, coordinating relations; Perfecting in the field of medical security and incentive mechanism; Seeking outside of family support and the improvement of the social security system in order to increase family choose domestic sickbed objective conditions.
