Objective:Through the analysis of the distribution regularity of TCM syndromes in patients with postpartum depression and related factors, to provide the reference for clinical prevention of postpartum depression occurs, reduce the harm of postpartum depression, and provide objective basis for TCM differential treatment of postpartum depression.Method:Through the investigation of facc-to-face questionnaire of Sichuan Provincial People’s Hospital and the Hospital Sichuan Province in2012March and2013March251patients with postpartum depression, to gather general information and TCM diagnosis information,which include patient’s age, occupation, cultural degree, then establish information database, use SPSS17software package for frequency analysis, cluster analysis of data, nonparametric test statistics, and finally summary and study the TCM Syndrome distribution and general information (parity, age, operation mode) correlation.Result:The TCM syndrome of251postpartum depression patients could copolymerized into four categories, that include Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome (99cases, accounting for39.4%of the total) which is the most common one, followed by two spleen deficiency (85cases, accounting for33.9%of the total), the stagnation of Liver-qi syndrome (34cases, accounting for13.5%of the total), blood deficiency and blood stasis syndrome (report of33cases,13.2%of the total). Postpartum depression patients with different TCM syndromes distribution and the age, marriage, culture degree, occupation, household registration, family monthly income, living conditions, health conditions of pregnant women, pregnancy complications, mode of delivery, pain tolerance, delivery environment, attitude of medical personnel and other related factors showed no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:The patients with postpartum depression syndromes, with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome is the most common, followed by two more than cardiosplenic syndrome of stagnation of liver qi deficiency, blood deficiency, blood stasis. The correlation factors include age, marriage, culture degree, occupation, household registration, family monthly income, living conditions have no significatent with the distribution of TCM Syndromes of patients with postpartum depression.
