Objective:(1)To explore the relationship between total bilirubin (TBIL) and metabolic syndrome (MS) of TCM syndrome type and various metabolic components, to find objective indicators for MS of TCM syndrome type;(2) To explore the total bilirubin (TBIL) of different TCM syndrome type in patients with MS predictive value of atherosclerosis (AS).Methods:To select the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University Of Chinese Medicine Department of cardiovascular medicine conforms to the standard diagnosis of177cases of MS patients, According to the diagnostic criteria which was released by Chinese Diabetes Society.96casesof these patients were phlegm and blood stasis type,and81cases of them were non-phlegm and blood stasis type.TBIL and the association TBIL and TCM syndrome were analyzed with the method of Spearman analysis,Logistic regression analysis and other statistical methods, The evaluation of total bilirubin in diagnosing phlegm and blood stasis type value was valued by ROC curve.Results:1. MS of TCM syndrome type distribution ratio of phlegm and blood stasis type> spleen and kidney deficiency type> qi and Yin deficiency type> heat and wet resistance type;2. MS of TCM syndrome type, the junction with the phlegm and blood stasis type and non-phlegm and blood stasis type in the mutual junction between the levels of total bilirubin, abdominal circumference, diastolic blood pressure, BMI, TG, LDL-C, IMT statistical differences (P﹤0.05); Male and female MS patients with abdominal circumference, BMI, TG, TC, HDL-C, LDL-C there was significant difference (P<0.05);3. The total bilirubin is negatively related to BMI, TG, LDL-C and IMT, bus positively related to the HDL-C;4. Using binary Logistic process for various clinical indicators gradually Logistic regression analysis, systolic pressure, diastolic blood pressure, pulse pressure, blood sugar, TC, TG, HDL-C level has nothing to do with phlegm and blood stasis type, total bilirubin, abdominal circumference, BMI, IMT, LDL-C type associated with phlegm and blood stasis type;5. Area under the ROC curve of serum total bilirubin level diagnostic MS of phlegm and blood stasis type (AUC) was0.645<0.7;6. Using LogitP=-10.24--0.117×abdominal circumference+0.949×BMI+2.372×IMT-0.627×LDL-C-0.157×TBIL, for the diagnosis of MS of phlegm and blood stasis type, has high diagnostic value;7. Total bilirubin is negatively related to the IMT, IMT with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome types are related.Conclusion:1. The phlegm and blood stasis type of MS patients of total bilirubin level is lower than the non-phlegm and blood stasis type;2. Total bilirubin and abdominal circumference, BMI, IMT, LDL-C, MS can be used as indicators of phlegm and blood stasis syndrome type;3. IMT level with phlegm and blood stasis type of MS is higher than non-phlegm and blood stasis type of MS, the phlegm and blood stasis type than non-phlegm and blood stasis type were more susceptible to AS.
