Background: Condyloma Acuminata is one of the Sexually transmitteddisease, which is defected by the Human Papillomavirus, mainly for skinand mucosal hyperplasia. It seriously affect the quality life of patientsbecause of its high recurrence. The giant Condyloma Acuminata is onetype of Condyloma Acuminata, which is less likely to see in clinic, however it has increased these years. The treatment of interferon andelectronic cauterization can reduce the recurrence of common CondylomaAcuminata apparently. In this paper, by observing the efficiency ofCobdyloma Acuminata treated with interferon and electroniccauterization, it can provide a guidance for clinical treatment. Objective: To observe the efficiency of giant and common CondylomaAcuminata treated with interferon and electronic cauterization.Methods:30giant Condyloma Acuminata out-patients and40commonCondyloma Acuminata were randomly divided into2groups respectively. One group was treated by the combination treatment: electroniccauterization, interferon α-2b injection, interferon α-2b creamtreatment. The control group was only treated by electroniccauterization and interferon α-2b cream. Asking the patients have the regular return visit every half month, and observe the patients weather tohave a recurrence. We follow up the patients for3months and record therecurrence time of every patient, finally we calculate the effective rate ofeach group. Results: The annul progress of giant Condyloma Acuminata is97.832days,and the common ones’ is19.674days, the difference issignificantly. The effective rate of combination treatment group of giant CondylomaAcuminata is80%, while the control group is73.33%, there is nosignificant difference. The effective rate of combination treatment group of commonCondyloma Acuminata is75%, while the control group is15%,thedifference is significantly.the total effective rate of giant Condyloma Acuminata is70%,while thecommon Condyloma Acuminata is45%,the difference is significantly. Conclusion: The annul progress of giant Condyloma Acuminata isapparently higher than the common ones’. The combination treatment ofinterferon injection and electronic cauterization can increase the effectiverate of common Condyloma Acuminata, while it has nothing to do withthe giant ones’. The effective rate of giant Condyloma Acuminata ishigher than the common ones’. Therefore, the initial treatment of thegiant Condyloma Acuminata is electronic cauterization and using cream, and interferon injection is not recommended for roution; while thecombination treatment is recommended for the common CondylomaAcuminata, which can increase the effective rate apparently.
