Objective:To analyze the related factors of portable monitoring andpolysomnography in simultaneous monitoring of suspected OSAHScases. Both the parameters of apnea hypopnea index(AHI), lowest oxygensaturation(LSaO2),mean oxygen saturation(MSaO2), percentage of timewith an oxygen saturation below90%(CT90%),oxygen desaturationindex(ODI),the number of apnea and hypopnea were collected andanalyzed. To evaluate the application of portable monitoring in the diagnosisof OSAHS.Methods:39case(saged from22to61years,mean43.67years) whohad suspected OSAHS were included from E.N.T. department of SecondAffiliated Hospital of Jilin University, dating from Dec2012to Dec2013.There were33male and6female.All patients underwent a simultaneousmonitoring of both portable monitoring and polysomnography. Both theparameters of apnea hypopnea index(AHI), lowest oxygen saturation(LSaO2),mean oxygen saturation(MSaO2), percentage of time with anoxygen saturation below90%(CT90%),oxygen desaturation index(ODI),the number of apnea and hypopnea were collected and analyzed. Results: Both the portable monitoring and polysomnography showed39cases met the diagnostic criteria for OSAHS. Polysomnography showed26severe cases,8moderate cases and1mild case. Portable monitoringshowed30severe cases,5moderate cases and4mild cases.1patients werediagnosed for mild by polysomnography and for severe diagnosis byportable monitoring.4patients were diagnosed for moderate bypolysomnography and for severe diagnosis by portable monitoring.1patients were diagnosed for severe by polysomnography and for moderate diagnosis by portable monitoring.Comparing portable monitoring withpolysomnography, the parameter of AHI,MSaO2, LSaO2, CT90%, ODI, thenumber of apnea and hypopnea had no significant difference. Conclusion: The portable monitoring is a easy to operate and simpleequipment in the identification of patients with OSAHS because of itseffective data for clinical diagnosis. Compared portable monitoring’sindicators with polysomnography’s indicators, both correlated well. Portablemonitoring has a high diagnostic value. But the diagnostic accuracy in theseverity of the disease should be improved.
